2004-11-30 I'm in the process of doing some upgrades and cleaning out some old stuff at the same time. Hopefully I won't wipe out anything which I don't want to wipe out. :) 2004-09-01 As mentioned in the last news item, I finished my updates to the skins page and added the FreeLists wallpaper. 2004-08-19 I decided to add a wallpaper section to the skins page. Currently, there is only 1 entry, a few pictures I threw together from a recent rafting trip. I'll probably add some more images from the art gallery of higher quality. However, I need to rework my skins pages first so that may be a while longer. 2003-10-19 I added Threads to the art gallery. 2003-08-26 I've actually been doing quite a few updates lately but it's all with non-public stuff so it's not really all that noticeable. I did however do some work on my Mortgage Calculator. It lets you fill in several variables and solves for whatever is missing. It also has an extra payments calculator that will tell you how much money you can save by paying extra each month. At some point, I'll probably add functionality that displays a payment schedule but I'm on another project at the moment. Oh yea, I'm not a banker so while it should be fairly accurate, don't bet your life on it or anything. :) 2003-08-05 There was a bit of down time today. Verizon apparently had a bad router that was causing problems. Of course, I still had to reset my modem/router even after they fixed the problem on their end so calethix.com was down about half of the day. 2003-07-24 I added Code Sanitation Engineer to the Art Gallery. 2002-12-03 The owner of FreeLists pointed out to me that the FreeLAmp skin has the stop and pause buttons reversed so I updated that skin today. I didn't update the preview image for it but that's kind of minor. 2002-11-26 I finished up the fractal calendar I've been working on. Check it out here. There probably won't be any updates for a few days with Thanksgiving coming up but maybe I'll get a chance to do some work on the site during the extended weekend. 2002-11-25 I added a couple more themes, cleaned up the news stuff a bit and content on the main page. 2002-11-22 I updated the theme chooser so it's a little nicer and created my third theme (emerald). I also finally fixed the date/time in the header but now I need to update my server to the correct time. ;) and one last thing.. I decided that I need to improve my current method of adding news events because it annoys me. 2002-11-13 I've been working on the calethix.com services a bit lately, trying to get that all converted to the new look of the web site. Right now the services part is mostly for my own benefit so I'll mention more about it later :) I finished up the FreeLAmp skin too. 2002-11-05 Wow, I figured it had been longer since my last update. I finished (except for a few tweaks) a new Winamp skin called FreeLAmp. It's close enough that I added it to the skins gallery anyway. It may receive some updates in the next couple of days. 2002-10-29 Well, I thought I would do another update. I've added quite a bit to the art gallery (some old stuff and some new). I made a little administration script for the art gallery which makes it tons easier for me to update stuff and add new images to the art gallery. Then I started transferring all of that to the skins page but didn't finish so there's nothing there just yet. :) Speaking of skins, I started redoing the FreeLists Winamp skin today. I think I like the new one quite a bit more but I've got quite a bit left so we'll see. Oh, and I added some news. :) I really need to take some time out to stick this news stuff in a database or something and pull out however much I want, wherever I want. Oh well, one more thing to add to the to-do list. 2002-10-14 I moved calethix.com to a new server and began redesigning the entire site. 2001-09-03 I finally finished my first Winamp Skin (SolAmp) but I haven't created a Skins page yet so just hit the SolAmp link for now :) 2001-08-30 I added Pyramids II to the art gallery 2001-08-22 Not too much to report. I made some updates to the Starcom page and also decided that I wasn't all too happy with the Winamp skins I've been working on so I'll either be scratching that idea or redoing them. Either way, it's a delay in adding new stuff. :) 2001-08-14 Wow, has it really been that long since my last update. Time goes by so quick some times. Anyway, not a lot to report. I did some more behind the scenes stuff in the art gallery to make the pages load a little better. I've been working on a couple of winamp skins to go with Solitude and Energy Fields but they're not finished yet. I also got caught up finishing the site redesign for FreeLists. It's a service that provides free mailing list services so if you're interested in that kind of thing, check it out. I should be getting back to calethix.com work here soon. I'd say my first winamp skin is about half done and the other, well, somewhere between 0 and half :) 2001-08-02 I added Energy Fields to the art gallery. That's really about all I accomplished. Of course it's only been 1 day since my last update.. that's pretty good actually :) 2001-08-01 I got my javascript working in the art gallery and added popups links different sized versions of Alien Center. I also added Solitude to the art gallery. Rearranged some stuff with includes to make updates a lot easier as well. 2001-07-27 First real update to calethix.com. I got some stuff up in the Art Gallery, added the news page and a few things to the merchandise page. There's still a lot to do but this is a good start. 2001-07-09 Put up a stupid obligatory coming soon page. |
